Yes, I am aware…

Published by Drama Mama at 12:01 am under Hobbies, Time Wasters, Website

Yes, I am aware my blog header is still “summer fun” and we have now said goodbye to the first week of November. I plan to have a simply gaw-jus fall banner up before Thanksgiving…I think.

Come to think of it, there are many other ways I can finish that sentence:

Yes, I am aware -

- that there is a small hole on the front of my sweater…I got a little carried away with the fuzz buster.

- that it is 11 pm and I still haven’t started my NaNo word count for the day…guess I won’t be getting in bed til after midnight.

- that I didn’t work out today…well,  we needed to work on Miss A’s science project, I had ZZZ stuff to take care of, and a pile of bills to pay.

What are you aware of? Make some excuses for all the things that haven’t been fixed or taken care of – at least you can say you have acknowledged their existence!

Yes, I am aware that I waited too long to write the draft for the next Choose post, but I was spending time with my family up north.

Yes, I am aware that I didn’t get any writing done this weekend. See above excuse.

Yes, I am aware that Twilight is incredibly popular. I don’t like it anyway.

Yes, I am aware that vampire stories are going out of style. I’m writing them anyway. =P

Yes, I am aware that I’m not drinking enough water throughout the day. I will change that today.

Ah yes, I too need to drink more water (and less of it when infused with a magic caffeinated bean). I love calorie free seltzer water…that helps me get my glass count up during meals!

Yay for excuses! and there is always room for a good vampire novel (I finally flew through the whole Twilight series last month, I broke down and had to see what all the hype was about…I had incredibly low expectations (usually the more the Masses adore something, the more I despise it) so was pleased that I found little things to like in each.

Yes, be in awe of me! I am awe inspiring! I am awesome!
    I am awe-ful.
I kid, I kid…it’s been a wild ride so far – I am loving the freedom to write complete crap, just as long as I write – mentality that comes with NaNo…it has helped me immensely. Now I need to: a – figure out how to keep the daily writing going once November is over and b – come up with a way to apply the same mentality and its success in practice to other areas of my life…
